BROTHER'S BLEND

Knowing that brother Chris has a soft spot for fine wine; Martin thought that bringing his elder brother on board would be a great way to expand the new vineyard.
It was over a Mother’s Day lunch, quite quirky really when you think about the famous painting titled “Whistler’s Mother” and our brand name Whistler Wines. There we were sitting around the bonfire, plates balanced on our knees, piled high with delicacies from the BBQ. That’s when Martin started fishing, something he loves to do in his spare time, “So Chris, what are you going to do when you retire?”
The rest is history, with Martin taking care of the vines and Chris on his way to earning a degree in wine making we couldn’t ask for a better blend. Add to this mix their loving and patient wives Sally and Jayne, as well as their children, Abby, Josh, Sam, Melissa and Matthew; and we have become the Whistler Wines family.
