While Chris is starting his degree in wine making, Josh has just completed his. Ready to spread his wings and learn from others, Josh is anxious to gain experience in other wineries before bringing his own skills and ideas to Whistler Wines. His first stop is to a neighbouring cellar door at Two Hands, as assistant winemaker.
If your timing is right, you may even get to sample some of Josh’s first vintages at cellar door. For those of you who already have, you know he is heading in the right direction.
Josh is a hard fellow to spot. When he’s not hard at work or checking on his wines, his time is taken up in search of Martin’s well hidden cellar key. Behind its doors lay the back vintages of our Semillon. Having taken out numerous awards across the valley, it’s no wonder it is ageing well. “Can’t wait to get in there and crack them open” he chuckles, “in the mean time I am more than happy to enjoy the current vintage”.
