June long weekend 11.00am - 5.00pm

Our Stew & Shiraz Day is one of those events many people place in their diaries for the following year as soon as the day is over. Held on the Sunday of the June long weekend, come rain or shine, this is a great way for the entire family to enjoy the company of friends over a glass of wine and a bowl of stew. 

 

This year Stuart Oldfield from h.a.n.d.m.a.d.e. cooked up a storm with warming bowls of beef stew and soup. 

 

We even managed to open the cellar doors and bring out the '97 and '99 Shiraz.  As if that wasn't enough, we also had our current '05 Shiraz wines available including the Shiraz, Reserve Shiraz and Sparkling Shiraz.  The fortified also made a reappearance to keep us warm at the end of the day at the camp fire.

 

Children were entertained in the barrel shed with games, facepainting and crafts while the live music kept everyone else in good spirits.
